Finding the right oil for your engine can be a tricky task. With so many brands, viscosities, synthetic vs conventional.... where do you start? Well, we're here to help clear that up!

If you own a model built on a Mercedes chassis (Serenity or Unity models), you should look for a synthetic oil that list as being mb-229.52 compatible. This number can change from year to year, so always refer to your manual to be sure.

If your model is built on the Ford Transit chassis (Wonder models), look for a synthetic oil listed as meeting Ford WSS-M2C171-E specifications.

A Note On Viscosity

The viscosity you choose will depend on the climate in which you will be operating your vehicle. If you know things will be warm and won't be dropping below freezing, a 15W-30 is fine. But if you expect it may drop, or are unsure, 5W-30 or even 0W-30 might be the better choice. But just like everything else, always refer to your owners manual for specifics.
